You and I have a secret in common...
Hi, I’m Alexandra.
I’m guessing you’re here because you have been diagnosed with Herpes or are concerned you might have gotten it. Guess what? I have herpes too… and I’ve had it for more than 10 years.
The bad news? If you do have it, there is no cure at this moment.
The good news? I’ve learned how to control my outbreaks and haven’t had an outbreak for months.
I created this site because I know what it feels like to get the phone call from your doctor saying, “you have Herpes.” I understand the rollercoaster of emotions that come with the virus.
I also know that there’s hope and you can learn how to get off that rollercoaster and begin to stop the suffering, physically, mentally and emotionally.
I am so excited you are here and I am excited to welcome you to the Life With Herpes Community. There are resources for you to begin to feel comfort, freedom and help you get back to enjoying life to its fullest.

P.S. I bet you are wondering what's up with all of the pomegranates.
Well, as you know it is hard enough to talk about Herpes let alone look at a blister. There was zero % chance there was going to be some horrible Googled picture of an outbreak as the logo. So, Alexandra and the team decided to get creative and look towards nature and come up with something that is aesthetically pleasing. And we came across the pomegranate! Think about it...don't the seeds kind of look like blisters? And what is also pretty cool is the pomegranate has been used through history by Kings and Queens as a holy symbolism. In general, the pomegranate represents fruitfulness, knowledge, learning, and wisdom so we think pomegranates are the perfect symbol for the Life With Herpes Community. Don't you?
